At home assembly?

I got a flyer in the mail for some work at home jobs, they make it sound like they have all these different projects you can pick to assemble but I think it's just a book you buy for 34.99 and they might tell you where you can go for that. So my question is, is anyone doing and at home assembly? Is that even a real thing? I tried looking it up on like and they all seem like scams. Any info would be a great help thanks
